Funeral for a Friend es una banda británica de emo rock formada en 2001 como January Thirst. El nombre cambió con el lanzamiento de su primer EP, *Between Order and Model*, en 2002. Con el lanzamiento de su segundo EP, *Four Ways To Scream Your Name*, la banda firmó con Warner Brothers.
