Jason Isbell es un cantautor y guitarrista estadounidense nacido el 1 de febrero de 1979 en Greenhill, Alabama, cerca de Muscle Shoals. Considerado uno de los compositores más importantes de la escena musical americana contemporánea, Isbell se distingue por sus canciones introspectivas y narrativas que exploran temas como la adicción, la familia, la política y la vida rural del sur.
