Bill Ortiz es un músico estadounidense, conocido por ser miembro de la banda de rock Santana en la década de 1970. Nacido en California, comenzó su carrera musical tocando el bajo y la percusión en varias bandas locales antes de unirse a Santana en 1972. Con el grupo, participó en la grabación de álbumes como "Welcome" (1973) y "Caravanserai" (1975), contribuyendo con su energía y groove al sonido distintivo de Santana.
