Serj Tankian es un cantautor, músico y productor discográfico armenio-estadounidense, conocido principalmente como vocalista principal y compositor principal de la banda estadounidense de metal System of a Down. Nacido en Armenia en 1967 de padres armenios emigrados a los Estados Unidos, Tankian comenzó su carrera musical tocando el piano y cantando en coros de iglesia.
