Saxon è una band heavy metal britannica originaria di Barnsley, Yorkshire, formatasi nel 1976. I componenti fondatori provenivano dai gruppi Son of a Bitch e Coast. Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), Saxon ha raggiunto grande popolarità negli anni '80 con album come "Wheels of Steel" (1980) e "Strong Arm of the Law" (1982).
