Major Lazer es un proyecto musical de música dancehall electrónica fundado en 2008 por el DJ y productor discográfico estadounidense Diplo. Inicialmente fue una colaboración con el DJ Switch, pero sus caminos se separaron en 2011. Actualmente, al proyecto también participan los DJs Walshy Fire y Ape Drums, que acompañan a Diplo en la producción y las actuaciones en vivo. Major Lazer ha contribuido a difundir la música dancehall electrónica en todo el mundo, colaborando con artistas internacionales como Jillionaire, Bruno Mars, Travis Scott y Ellie Goulding.
