Walk in your own shoes
Make all your luck alone
So you can look in the mirror and see
Oh, how you've grown
Singing
Why
Would you give your dollar away
Keep it moving every day
So you're bouncing to the rhythm
Why
Don't you give yourself the start
Nothing fumbling about with the blues
Sing it to me
Every day
Every night
I see a darkness
Just embrace it
Tumbling in style
Every day
Every night
I keep it calm here
Being faced by
The noise around
Oh, everything
Tumbling through all these years
Trying to get away from the cold dark fear
Tumbling now scraped and torn
Like a feather in the wind I see you floating on
The whisper in space
Talking 'bout grace
Walking like a ghost I'm done
I'll be a thief in the night
Running fast before your life
Singing
Why
Would you give your dollar away
Keep it moving every day
So you're bouncing to the rhythm
Why
Don't you give yourself the start
Nothing fumbling about with the blues
Sing it to me
Every day
Every night
I see a darkness
Just embrace it
Tumbling in style
Every day
Every night
I keep it calm here
Being faced by
The noise around
Oh, everything
Why can't you ignore everything
You think you're so
Don't mind me, I'm not [?] today
Take my hand
And walk with me instead
And give me the light
I've mistaken my flows for [?]
And give me the raw aspiration
Stand tall every day
Just to wake up in the morning
With the sun up in my face
So focus on the feeling
Remember that you're breathing
Tell me that you're healing
Don't we know it's a jungle out there
Every day
Every night
I see a darkness
Just embrace it
Tumbling in style
Every day
Every night
I keep it calm here
Being faced by
The noise around
Every day
Every night
I keep it calm here
Being faced by
The noise around
Oh, everything
