Deceased es una banda estadounidense de death/thrash metal procedente de Virginia, Estados Unidos. Fundada en 1984 por el baterista y vocalista King Fowley, fue la primera en firmar con Relapse Records. Durante su larga carrera, han lanzado cuatro álbumes de estudio a través de Relapse, junto con numerosos EPs, demos y reediciones de demos anteriores. En 2003 Deceased dejó Relapse para fichar por Thrash Corner, continuando a lanzar material hasta el día de hoy. Aunque el estilo de la banda ha cambiado a lo largo de los años, transformándose en una mezcla de thrash y heavy metal con voces más duras en comparación con el sonido death metal crudo de sus primeros trabajos, el núcleo del sonido de Deceased sigue centrado en la poderosa batería de Fowley y las letras de terror que son gritadas, a veces narradas, por el vocalista.
