Kurupt, cuyo nombre real es Ricardo Emmanuel Brown, es un rapero y productor discográfico estadounidense nacido en Long Beach, California, en 1973. Activo desde finales de los años 90, Kurupt alcanzó la fama como miembro del grupo de hip hop Tha Dogg Pound, conocido por su estilo G-funk influenciado por Dr. Dre. Después de colaborar con Snoop Dogg y otros artistas de Death Row Records, Kurupt emprendió una exitosa carrera en solitario, lanzando álbumes como "Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha" (1998) y "Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey" (2000).
