Glenn Raymond Tipton (1947) è un chitarrista britannico, noto soprattutto per essere uno dei membri fondatori e la chitarra ritmica della leggendaria band heavy metal Judas Priest. Tipton ha contribuito a definire il suono distintivo del gruppo con le sue linee melodiche intricate e i riff potenti. ???? Nato in Inghilterra, Tipton iniziò a suonare la chitarra all'età di 12 anni, influenzato da artisti come Chuck Berry e The Beatles. Nel 1969 formò Judas Priest insieme al cantante Rob Halford, al bassista Ian Hill e al batterista John Hinch. Il gruppo raggiunse il successo internazionale negli anni '80 con album come *British Steel* (1980) e *Screaming for Vengeance* (1982), diventando uno dei pilastri del heavy metal mondiale. Tipton è noto per la sua tecnica di chitarra precisa e potente, spesso caratterizzata da arpeggi veloci e riff memorabili.
