I Pixies sono una band rock alternativo statunitense formatasi a Boston nel 1986. Il gruppo è composto da Black Francis (voce, chitarra), Kim Deal (basso, cori), David Lovering (batteria) e Joey Santiago (chitarra). Considerati pionieri del genere alternative rock, i Pixies sono noti per il loro sound caratterizzato da un'alternanza tra momenti delicati e fragili e altri esplosivi e potenti.
