Sir Elton Hercules John, nato Reginald Kenneth Dwight il 25 marzo 1947 a Pinner, Middlesex, Inghilterra, è uno dei musicisti più influenti e riconoscibili al mondo. Iniziò a studiare pianoforte all'età di sei anni e si formò alla Royal Academy of Music. Nel 1962 cambiò nome in Elton John e iniziò la sua carriera musicale come tastierista per diversi artisti, tra cui Bluesology.
