Madball è una band hardcore punk statunitense originaria di New York, attiva dal tardo 1980. Il gruppo nacque come progetto parallelo degli Agnostic Front, con Freddy "Madball" Cricien, fratello minore del frontman Roger Miret, che si esibiva al microfono durante i concerti degli Agnostic Front. Nel 1992 Madball decise di intraprendere la propria carriera musicale in modo indipendente, pubblicando il loro album di debutto "Ball of Destruction". Il sound della band è caratterizzato da un hardcore punk aggressivo e veloce, con influenze thrash metal e groove metal. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Dog Eat Dog", "Set It Off" e "Look My Way". Madball ha collaborato con numerosi artisti del genere hardcore, tra cui Cro-Mags e Sick of it All. La band è considerata una delle più influenti nel panorama hardcore punk internazionale.
