Copeland es una banda de rock estadounidense formada en 2001 en Lakeland, Florida, por Aaron Marsh (voz, guitarra, mellotron, órgano y piano) y James Likeness (bajo y coros). El sonido original del grupo se completa con Bryan Laurenson (guitarra) y Jonathan Bucklew (batería), que se unieron después del ex baterista Rusty. En 2002 Copeland firmó con The Militia Group y en 2003 lanzó su álbum debut *Beneath Medicine Tree*. En 2005 salió *In Motion*, producido por Matt Goldman y Aaron Marsh, y mezclado por Ken Andrews. El álbum incluyó un EP acústico con versiones lo-fi de canciones de *In Motion* y *Beneath Medicine Tree*. Copeland ha tocado en el Cornerstone Florida Festival en 2004, 2005 y 2006. Algunos de sus temas más representativos son: *The Son*, *You Are My Sunshine*, *I'm Not Afraid*, *In Motion*.
