Incubus es una banda de rock estadounidense formada en Calabasas, California, en 1991. Los miembros fundadores son Brandon Boyd (voz), Mike Einzeger (guitarra), Alex Katunich (bajo) y Jose Pasillas (batería). Después de lanzar el EP independiente *Fungus Amongus*, firmaron con Epic Records y en 1997 lanzaron su exitoso EP debut, *Enjoy Incubus*, que presentó su estilo funk-rock influenciado por artistas como los Red Hot Chili Peppers. El álbum de debut oficial del grupo, *Make Yourself* (1999), alcanzó un gran éxito comercial gracias a canciones como «Drive» y «Stellar», consolidando la posición de Incubus en el panorama musical alternativo.
