Kavinsky, pseudonimo di Vincent Belorgey, è un DJ, produttore discografico e attore francese nato nel 1978. Attivo dal 2006, si è fatto conoscere per il suo stile synthwave caratterizzato da sonorità elettroniche anni '80, influenzate dalla musica di artisti come John Carpenter e Vangelis. Il suo brano più famoso, "Nightcall", è stato incluso nella colonna sonora del film Drive (2011) di Nicolas Winding Refn, raggiungendo un'enorme popolarità internazionale.
