Suicidal Tendencies son una banda estadounidense de heavy metal formada en Venice, California, en 1982. El único miembro constante del grupo es el cantante y principal letrista Mike Muir. Su música, caracterizada por un ritmo frenético e influencias del punk, thrash metal y hardcore, ayudó a definir el estilo crossover thrash. Entre sus canciones más representativas se encuentran "Institutionalized", "Possessed to Skate" y "Cyco Miko". El álbum debut homónimo de 1983 es considerado un clásico del género.
