Statik Selektah, cuyo nombre real es Patrick Baril, es un DJ, productor discográfico y locutor de radio estadounidense nacido en la ciudad de Nueva York en 1980. Considerado uno de los pilares de la escena del hip hop underground estadounidense, Statik Selektah se distingue por su estilo de producción caracterizado por muestras vintage y ritmos old-school con influencias jazz y funk. Su carrera musical comenzó en la década de 1990 como DJ en clubes de Nueva York, colaborando con artistas emergentes del panorama del hip hop.
