Shihad es una banda de rock neozelandesa formada en Melbourne, Australia en 1988. El grupo, compuesto por Jon Toogood (voz), Phil Knight (guitarra), Karl Kippenberger (bajo) y Tom Larkin (batería), alcanzó una gran popularidad en Nueva Zelanda con un sonido caracterizado por influencias grunge y rock alternativo. Entre sus álbumes más importantes se encuentran "The General Electric" (1992), "Churning the Sea" (1995) y "Killjoy" (1998).
