Legion of the Damned es una banda holandesa de thrash/death metal formada en 2004 a partir de las cenizas del grupo Occult, tras la salida de la cantante Rachel Heyzer. Sus canciones exploran temas de horror, ocultismo, religión y apocalipsis. Grabaron los álbumes *Malevolent Rapture* y *Sons of the Jackal* en el Stage One Studio con el productor Andy Classen. Un particular homenaje a sus orígenes holandeses está presente en la edición especial del álbum *Cult of the Dead*, que incluye un bloque de queso grabado con el logo de la banda, un elemento único en el merchandising metal (y quizás en todos los géneros musicales). Algunas de sus canciones más representativas: *The Hallowed Crown*, *Blood and Fire*, *Death is My Master*.
