Spock's Beard es una banda de rock progresivo formada en Los Ángeles en 1992 por los hermanos Neal y Alan Morse. Neal, teclista y vocalista principal, también fue el compositor principal antes de dejar la banda en 2002 para emprender una carrera en solitario. Alan toca la guitarra eléctrica. La pareja se unió a otros músicos como Nick D'Virgilio (batería) y Dave Meros (bajo), lanzando su álbum debut, *The Light*, en 1995. Al cuarteto se unió más tarde el veterano teclista Ryo Okumoto.
