The Pogues son una banda de folk punk anglo-irlandesa activa en las décadas de 1980 y 1990. Fundada en Londres en 1982 por Shane MacGowan (cantante) y Jem Finer (guitarra), el grupo logró mezclar influencias tradicionales irlandesas con un sonido rock enérgico, creando un género único que los hizo icónicos.
