Grinspoon es una banda de rock australiana de Lismore, Nueva Gales del Sur, formada en 1995. El grupo está liderado por el vocalista y guitarrista Phil Jamieson, junto a Pat Davern a la guitarra, Joe Hansen al bajo y Kristian Hopes a los tambores. En 1995 ganaron el concurso Unearthed patrocinado por Triple J para Lismore con su canción post-grunge "Sickfest". Su álbum debut, "Guide to Better Living", fue lanzado en 1999 y alcanzó el puesto número 2 en las listas australianas. La banda es conocida por su sonido energético y canciones que abordan temas sociales como el uso médico de la marihuana.
