Skid Row es una banda estadounidense de heavy metal formada en 1986 en Toms River, Nueva Jersey. Los miembros fundadores son Rachel Bolan (bajo) y Dave "The Snake" Sobo (guitarra). Completaron la formación original Matt Fallon (voz), Scotti Hill (guitarra) y Rob Affuso (batería). En 1987 Sebastian Bach reemplazó a Fallon en el bajo, llevando a la banda al éxito internacional. Skid Row lanzó tres álbumes de platino en la década de 1990: "Skid Row" (1989), "Slave to the Grind" (1991) y "Subhuman Race" (1992). Bach fue despedido en 1997, seguido por una serie de cambios en la formación. En 2000 la banda lanzó un nuevo álbum con Tony Harnell como vocalista, pero sin el éxito anterior. Skid Row continúa existiendo e interpretando desde 2016 con Johnny Solinger (ex-Whitesnake) como cantante. Los temas más representativos incluyen "18 and Life", "I Remember You", "Youth Gone Wild" y "Big Guns".
