I Teenage Fanclub sono un gruppo musicale scozzese formatosi a Glasgow nel 1983. Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento indie pop degli anni '90, il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, arrangiamenti raffinati e influenze provenienti dal power pop, dal jangle pop e dalla musica psichedelica. La formazione originale comprendeva Norman Blake (chitarra, voce), Raymond McGinley (basso, voce), Francis Reader (batteria) e Gerard Love (voce, chitarra). Nel corso degli anni la band ha attraversato diverse fasi compositive, mantenendo sempre un'elevata qualità musicale.
