It's my life story of love that never comes true
It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue
And fills my empty soul with love that's left untold
But keeps my lover's heart feeling gold
I'm gonna take her back
I'm gonna put her in my garden of love
I'm gonna make her mine
And let her bloom into my flower of love
And with rain and sunshine every day
We'll smile as we wash our tears away
I know these are foolish things I say
'Cause the night'll just wash day's love away
It's my life story of lovе that never comes truе
It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue
And fills my empty soul with love that's left untold
But keeps my lover's heart feeling cold
Oh, a way I'm gonna find
And stop all this commotion of love
I'm gonna take her far
Among the treasures in my ocean of love
And with rain and sunshine every day
We'll smile as we wash our tears away
My friends say I shouldn't fantasize
(Yes, it is because the truth will look you dead in your eyes)
That's why I always say
It's my life story of love that never comes true
It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue
It's my life story (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
Spend my life fantasizing (It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue)
My life story, yeah, oh (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
Wish my story could be about real life (It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue)
But my life story is a fantasy of love that leaves me so blue
My life story, oh, my life story (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
Will my fantasy come true? No, it won't 'cause I live in a fantasy world, a thing that never will come true (It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue)
Leave me so blue, oh (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
That never comes true
It's that fantasy, it's that fantasy of love (It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue)
My life story, woah, woah (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
Take me home, oh, yeah, yeah (It's that fantasy of love that leaves me so blue)
My life story, oh, yeah (It's my life story of love that never comes true)
