Letra Mud on his halo Brantley Gilbert

Mud on his halo

I wonder what the fine print read
When he opened up my case
I bet he looked at God and said
"You sure there ain't another way?

'Cause this one's gonna need some saving
From the ruts that he puts himself in
I'm gonna need some extra patience."
And ever since

He's been steady on my 6
Flying high in the air
Keeping me in good graces with the man upstairs
Bet he can't count the times that he's dropped his wings in 4 low
I know my angel's got some mud on his halo

Ain't no doubt I've drug 'em through some down here dirt
So if he's hanging 'round real close
I know my angel's got some mud on his halo

He's always riding shotgun on my shoulder
Keeping the devil at the door
Tryna drag me out the fires as they smolder
Flying through the dust from my Ford

He's been steady on my 6
Flying high in the air
Keeping me in good graces with the man upstairs
Bet he can't count the times that he's dropped his wings in 4 low
I know my angel's got some mud on his halo

Ain't no doubt I've drug 'em through some down here dirt
So, if he's hanging 'round real close
I know my angel's got some mud on his halo

I hope he opens up those gates
When I get to meet him in the sky
I won't have to see his face
He won't be hard to recognize
My angel's got some mud on his halo
Got some mud on his halo

He's been steady on my 6
Flying high in the air
Keeping me in good graces with the man upstairs
Bet he can't count the times that he's dropped his wings in 4 low
I know my Angel's got some mud on his halo

Ain't no doubt I've drug 'em through some down here dirt
So, if he's hanging 'round real close
I know my angel's got some mud on his halo

Mud on his, mud on his, mud on his halo
Mud on his, mud on his, mud on his halo
