HIM (His Infernal Majesty) es una banda finlandesa de rock gótico formada en Helsinki en 1995 por Ville Valo (voz), Mikko Lindström (guitarra) y Mikko Paananen (bajo). El nombre HIM, que podría derivar del anterior nombre de la banda His Infernal Majesty, fue adoptado después del sencillo "Wicked Game", una versión del éxito de Chris Isaak. La elección se debió a un deseo de distanciarse de las asociaciones con grupos satánicos y a la dificultad para los fans finlandeses para pronunciar el nombre original. A lo largo de su carrera, HIM ha lanzado siete álbumes de estudio, incluyendo "Razorblade Romance" (2000) y "Love Metal" (2003), que alcanzaron el éxito internacional.
