Avicii, nombre artístico de Tim Bergling (1989-2018), fue un productor discográfico, DJ y compositor sueco. Considerado uno de los pioneros del género progressive house, Avicii alcanzó la fama internacional con su sencillo "Levels" en 2011, que llegó a la cima de las listas de éxitos en numerosos países. Su estilo musical se caracterizaba por melodías pegadizas, ritmos energéticos e influencias electrónicas. Además de "Levels", otros éxitos incluyen "Wake Me Up", "Hey Brother" y "The Nights". Avicii colaboró con artistas como Aloe Blacc, Coldplay y Adam Lambert. En 2016 anunció su retirada de las actuaciones en vivo por motivos de salud, pero continuó produciendo música hasta su trágica muerte en 2018 a la edad de 28 años.
