The Forecast è un gruppo indie rock proveniente da Peoria, Illinois. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da potenti armonie vocali a due e tre voci, eseguite da diverse combinazioni dei loro cantanti, come si può ascoltare in brani come "Red as the Moon" e "One Hundred Percent". La band è stata fondata nel 2001 da Dustin Addis, l'unico membro originale rimasto. La formazione attuale del gruppo si è riunita nell'estate del 2004 quando Shannon Burns e Matt Webb hanno lasciato la loro precedente band, Casting Lines. Hanno pubblicato un album split, un album in studio completo e un EP di quattro brani mentre erano sotto contratto con Thinker Thought Records. Il loro primo album in studio completo con la formazione attuale è stato pubblicato il 17 maggio 2005 intitolato "Late Night Conversations".
