The Rasmus son una banda finlandesa de rock alternativo formada en Helsinki en 1994. Inicialmente conocidos como Rasmus, el grupo cambió su nombre al firmar con la discográfica sueca Playground. La formación original estaba compuesta por Lauri Ylönen (voz), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitarra), Eero Heinonen (bajo) y Jarno Lahti (batería).
