Mark Schultz es un cantautor de música cristiana contemporánea nacido el 16 de septiembre de 1970. Creció en Colby, Kansas y se graduó de la Universidad Estatal de Kansas con una licenciatura en marketing. Durante sus estudios universitarios fue miembro de la fraternidad Lambda Chi Alpha. Después de graduarse, se mudó a Nashville, Tennessee, donde trabajó durante ocho años como líder de un grupo juvenil en la Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana (PCUSA) de Nashville. Schultz ha sido nominado para numerosos Dove Awards, ganando su primero en los Dove Awards de 2006 cuando el álbum en vivo "Mark Schultz Live: A Night of Stories and Songs" fue nombrado Mejor video musical de formato largo.
