Aqua es un grupo danés de Euro-pop dance formado en los años 90. Conocido por su éxito mundial del sencillo "Barbie Girl", extraído de su álbum debut Aquarium (1997), el grupo lanzó un segundo álbum, Aquarius (2000), antes de disolverse en 2001 debido a conflictos internos. La ruptura fue causada por la relación romántica entre la cantante Lene Nystrøm y el guitarrista y compositor Søren Rasted, lo que generó celos con el fundador del grupo René Dif.
