Poisonblack fue una banda finlandesa de metal gótico formada en 2000 por Ville Laihiala, ex miembro de Sentenced. La banda lanzó cuatro álbumes de estudio: *Escapexstacy* (2003), *Lust Stained Despair* (2006), *A Dead Heavy Day* (2008) y *Of Rust And Bones* (2010). Su sonido se caracteriza por una mezcla de melodías oscuras, riffs pesados y atmósferas sombrías.
