Legion of the Damned es una banda holandesa de thrash/death metal formada en 2004 a partir de las cenizas del grupo Occult, tras la salida de la cantante Rachel Heyzer. Sus canciones exploran temas de horror, ocultismo, religión y apocalipsis. Grabaron los álbumes *Malevolent Rapture* y *Sons of the Jackal* en el Stage One Studio con el productor Andy Classen. Un particular homenaje a sus orígenes holandeses está presente en la edición especial del álbum *Cult of the Dead*, que incluye un bloque de queso grabado con el logo de la banda, un elemento único en el merchandising metal (y quizás en todos los géneros musicales).
