Asia es un supergrupo formado en 1981 por miembros de bandas legendarias como Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake and Palmer y Uriah Heep. La formación original incluía a Geoff Downes (teclados), John Wetton (bajo, voz), Steve Howe (guitarra) y Carl Palmer (batería).
