I always want to be first
In a world of caress
Just be good to yourself
And save the best for last
Something is dragging me down
I have the strength to resist
Whatever problems I get
I try to give my best
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound
Open your eyes and you will see
The world that we live in is for you and me
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound
Open your eyes you know who I am
I need to be controlled every now and then
I always want to be right
Even if it’s not like that
Never give up on yourself
There is no room for regret
I always look straight ahead
But sometimes I'm just too blind
If there is no second chance
Let’s try it one more time
Let’s try it one more time
Protect me from the evil
Save me from myself
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound
Open your eyes and you will see
The world that we live in is for you and me
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound
Open your eyes you know who I am
I need to be controlled every now and then (Save me from myself)
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound (Protect me from the evil)
Open your eyes and you will see
The world that we live in is for you and me (Save me from myself)
Hold me tight, never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound (Protect me from the evil)
Open your eyes you know who I am
I need to be controlled every now and then (Save me from myself)
I need to be controlled every now and then
I need to be controlled every now and then
Hold me tight never let me down
I need a place where I feel safe and sound
Open your eyes you know who I am
I need to be controlled every now and then
