MxPx es una banda de rock punk formada en 1992 en Bremerton, Washington. El trío compuesto por Mike Herrera (voz y guitarra), Yuri Ruley (guitarra) y Andy Husted (batería) comenzó su carrera durante la escuela secundaria. La banda fue descubierta por Tooth and Nail Records y lanzó su álbum debut, *Pokinatcha*, en 1994. MxPx alcanzó un gran éxito en las décadas de 1990 y 2000 con un sonido pop-punk energético y melódico. Algunos de sus temas más famosos incluyen "Chick Magnet", "Responsibility" y "The Maxx".
