Everything about us is confusing
Think I'm getting over this back and forth
I won’t let the drama consume me
Said we were done so what you calling for?
Wasn't even able but you fooled me
I drank way too much of that alcohol
No there ain't no happy ending to this movie
I can tell
She said, "It was all fine"
What you mean? It’s over
Gave you some time but your heart's getting colder
Used to be in control
Used to be in control
Say you want space then you act like you're broken
Push you away, call you back in the morning
It's been taking a toll
I can't give you control
No, control ovеr my mind and my soul
I gotta get that shit back
You got my back against the ropes
Was mе and you against the world
But now my world's up in smoke
And baby worst of all
That's when shit got personal
I said some things I can't take back
And yeah I know that
But you put on this huge act
Like you’re the greatest showman
So go and cast your stones then
Actin’ like you can't do no wrong
If you want closure go and run back this song
Girl, move along ’cause I'm gone
She said, "It was all fine"
What you mean? It's over
Gave you some time but your heart's getting colder
Used to be in control
Used to be in control
Say you want space then you act like you’re broken
Push you away, call you back in the morning
It's been taking a toll
I can't give you control
It was all fine- that's getting-
What you mean?
Gave you some time- oh- control
It was all fine- that's getting-
What you mean?
Lose- time- control
It was all fine- that's getting-
What you mean?
Gave you some time- oh- control
It was all fine- that's getting-
What you mean?
Lose- time- control
She said, "It was all fine"
What you mean? It's over
Baby summertime but your heart's getting colder
Used to be in control
Used to be in control
Say you want space then you act like you're broken
Push you away, call you back in the morning
It's been taking a toll
I can't give you control
