Enslavement of Beauty es una banda noruega de symphonic black metal formada en enero de 1995 por Ole Alexander Myrholt (voz y letras) y Tony Eugene Tunheim (guitarras y composición). Durante los años siguientes, la banda compuso e grabó material, desarrollando su propia expresión. En el verano de 1998, Enslavement of Beauty grabó el CD demo "Devilry and Temptation", lo que llevó a un contrato con Head Not Found/Voices of Wonder. Esto resultó en el lanzamiento de "Traces O' Red" en 1999, que recibió muy buena respuesta. En noviembre de 2000, la banda regresó al estudio para grabar su segundo álbum, "Megalomania", junto al baterista Asgeir Mickelson (Borknagar/Spiral Architect) y el bajista Hans-Aage Holmen. En 2007, se lanzó con éxito el tercer álbum, "Mere Contemplations", con el sello I.N.R.I. Unlimited. Musicalmente, la banda sigue sonando muy melódica y profundamente inspirada en la música clásica, pero con un toque metálico más agudo y una actitud rock 'n' roll sin concesiones.
