Bob Dylan, nato Robert Allen Zimmerman a Duluth (Minnesota) il 24 maggio 1941, è un cantautore, compositore, scrittore, poeta, pittore, attore e conduttore radiofonico statunitense. Considerato una delle figure più influenti degli ultimi cinquant'anni in musica, cultura popolare e letteratura, Dylan ha segnato profondamente la storia della musica americana. La sua carriera inizia negli anni '60, periodo in cui si afferma come figura chiave del movimento di protesta americano. Canzoni come *Blowin' in the Wind* e *The Times They Are A-Changin'* diventano inni dei movimenti pacifisti e per i diritti civili.
