Saviour Machine fue un grupo musical estadounidense activo de 1989 a 2003. Fundado por los hermanos Eric y Jeff Clayton en el sur de California, la banda se destacó por su estilo original que combina metal sinfónico con elementos de metal gótico, siempre impregnado de una fuerte componente cristiana. Sus sonoridades, caracterizadas por melodías elaboradas, riffs pesados y letras espirituales, han ganado a un seguimiento fiel en el panorama musical underground. Entre sus canciones más representativas se encuentran "The Great Divide", "Blood and Fire" y "Arise". El álbum debut, "The Age of Reason", lanzado en 1992, marcó el inicio de su carrera, seguido por otros trabajos como "The Second Coming" (1994) y "The Final Hour" (1997). Saviour Machine se disolvió en 2003 después de un período de intensa actividad y una creciente dificultad para conciliar la vida musical con sus creencias religiosas.
