Mastodon è una band americana di heavy metal originaria di Atlanta, Georgia. Formatasi nel 2000, il quartetto è composto da Brent Hinds (chitarra), Bill Kelliher (chitarra), Troy Sanders (basso e voce) e Brann Dailor (batteria). Conosciuti per la loro musica complessa e epica, che fonde elementi di sludge metal, progressive metal e stoner rock, Mastodon ha guadagnato un seguito di culto nel mondo del heavy metal.
