Thunderstone è una band finlandese di power metal formatasi ad Helsinki nel 2000 dal chitarrista Nino Laurenne. Il gruppo ha raggiunto un discreto successo internazionale grazie al suo sound epico e melodico, influenzato da band come DragonForce e Blind Guardian. Tra i loro album più noti figurano "The Burning" (2003) e "Eternal Sky" (2006). Thunderstone è stata anche una delle prime band a collaborare con la label finlandese Spinefarm Records. Nel 2014, dopo un periodo di pausa, il gruppo ha annunciato il suo scioglimento. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Burning", "Eternal Sky" e "Blackheart Symphony".
