Thunderstone es una banda finlandesa de power metal formada en Helsinki en 2000 por el guitarrista Nino Laurenne. El grupo alcanzó un éxito considerable a nivel internacional gracias a su sonido épico y melódico, influenciado por bandas como DragonForce y Blind Guardian. Entre sus álbumes más notables se encuentran "The Burning" (2003) y "Eternal Sky" (2006). Thunderstone también fue una de las primeras bandas en colaborar con el sello discográfico finlandés Spinefarm Records. En 2014, después de un período de pausa, el grupo anunció su disolución.
