John Parr è un musicista inglese nato il 18 novembre 1954 a Worksop, in Inghilterra. È noto soprattutto per il suo singolo del 1985 "St. Elmo's Fire", che ha raggiunto la vetta delle classifiche americane. Parr ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70 con la band The John Parr Band, pubblicando diversi album e singoli di successo nel Regno Unito.
