Midnight Oil es una banda de rock australiana originaria de Sídney, activa desde 1972 hasta 2007. La formación original incluía a Rob Hirst (batería), Andrew James (bajo) y Jim Moginie (teclados/guitarra). El nombre del grupo cambió de Farm a Midnight Oil en 1973 con la incorporación de Peter Garrett (voz) y Martin Rotsey (guitarra).
