Mumm-Ra fueron una banda de rock indie inglesa originaria de Bexhill on Sea. El fundador Niall Buckler tenía solo catorce años cuando formó el grupo, que tomó su nombre de Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, el principal villano del cartoon de los años 80 Thundercats.
