Stabbing Westward è un gruppo musicale industrial rock statunitense formatosi a Chicago, Illinois, nel 1985. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo commerciale negli anni '90 con album come "Wither Blister Burn and Peel" (1994) e "Save Yourself" (1996), caratterizzati da sonorità dark e testi introspettivi che hanno influenzato la scena industrial rock. Il loro sound, un mix di heavy metal, elettronica e post-punk, è stato definito da alcuni come "industrial gothic". Stabbing Westward ha collaborato con artisti come Marilyn Manson e Filter, contribuendo a plasmare l'immagine dell'industrial rock negli anni '90. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "What Do I Have to Do?", "Save Yourself" e "Torn Away". Dopo una pausa nel 2001, il gruppo si è riunito nel 2013 per un tour mondiale e ha pubblicato nuovi album negli anni successivi.
