Carole Bayer Sager (nata nel 1947) è una cantautrice e compositrice statunitense di grande successo. Ha vinto un Grammy Award per la sua canzone "That's What Friends Are For", interpretata da Dionne Warwick, Elton John, Gladys Knight e Stevie Wonder. La sua carriera musicale si estende su diversi generi, tra cui pop, rock e musica teatrale. Tra le sue collaborazioni più importanti ricordiamo quelle con Burt Bacharach, Elton John e Michael Jackson. Oltre a comporre canzoni per altri artisti, Sager ha anche inciso album di successo come "Carole Bayer Sager" (1978) e "Sometimes Late at Night" (1982). Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "That's What Friends Are For", "I'm So Excited" (interpretata da The Pointer Sisters), "The Best That You Can Do" (da "They're Playing Our Song") e "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" (interpretata da Aretha Franklin).
