Zwan fue un supergrupo de pop rock formado a finales del 2001 por Billy Corgan, cantante y guitarrista de los Smashing Pumpkins, junto con Jimmy Chamberlin (batería), también miembro de los Smashing Pumpkins. Al grupo se unieron David Pajo (guitarra), exmiembro de Slint, Tortoise y artista solista, y Matt Sweeney. Posteriormente, Paz Lenchantin, ex de A Perfect Circle, tomó el bajo. Su único álbum, *Mary Star of the Sea*, fue lanzado en 2003. Pocos meses después, debido a disputas internas y la falta de éxito comercial, la banda se disolvió.
